They took home court away from Detroit. They took advantage of there rest and detroits lack of and stole one on the road. Home court does matter. Especially in hte NBA and NFL. Not so much in baseball.

Thats a matter of opinion and nothing else. As far as it being an advantage I disagree since alot of teams lost home games this post season. Both conf semifinal series from both conferences had road teams winning games and now in the conference finals of of the west conference road teams have won. So it hasn't played that big of a part.

If you want to talk about home field being big in the NFL why don't you look at what the Steelers did in the playoffs. They won 3 straight playoff games on the road so I would say home field meant nothing to them.

I'm not a Cocky fan and never have been...I give FULL credit to the Heat...they played a great game...they came ready to win and did just that....Shaq played amazing despite how I feel about the man...and the supporting cast stepped up big...they out hustled Detroit 100%...and for that I can't be mad...the only sense of urgency Detroit felt was in the 4th quarter when they started making some shots finally....which should have happened late in the 2nd quarter....no excuses...from me at least...I'm sure they'll be some....but for once finally Shaq got past the Pistons...we'll see ya'll next year for the tie breaker...

as for this ignoramous Epxy...are you still Sour from the All Star game? Because if you didn't watch it...I BELIEVE it was the play from all FOUR Pistons that brought them back to win that game after being down almost 20 at half time...Pistons CLEARLY do not ****...Miami was the better team this series...and it showed....you're a biased...low class punk...and as MUCH as I like Dallas I hope they lose so you shut up....because I believe in the regular season Dallas didn't beat Detroit ONCE...I could be wrong....but I don't think so...and they stole the All Star game....Detroit may have lost BUT....

Detroit > ANY TEAM IN THE WEST

Miami played a hell of a series....props to D-Wade....and I think they'll take the Championship this year....
