Getting back into it!
Good shooters have bad shooting nights, mavs are just lucky they havent had multiple in a row like Rip/Billups/Prince.
Sigh,Both Shaq and Wade had injuries that limited their performance and efficiency. Neither could elevate for proper shots or rebound well, and against a good Pistons team, were ineffective.
This time 'round they are both healthy and controlling the tempo of the games.
Let me put it this way since Soul Reaper will cry if I put it otherwise...It all depends on the roll players. Someone needs to feed him the ball. He's played with Penny, Kobe and now Wade. Shaq's been pretty lucky too.
Miami can't win without Wade, but can win without Shaq. So with a full squad, yes, I'd agree that Shaq gives a Miami an edge on offense, but for defense, I'd have to go with Alonzo Mourning.
Well he'll have plenty of time to rest after tonight. I'll single handedly make sure of that.also rasheed is injured so we will use that as an excuse untill we reach the playoffs next year
Stackhouse isn't a streaky player either is he?And don't be too hyped up on the Heats "role players." Walker has just recently begun playing well but is probably the most streaky player in the league.
I disagree, Mourning is more agile and feared more on defense than Shaq. Shaq just recently started coming out to help out on picks, although he's still a bit reluctant to guard a good shooting center much beyond the paint.Mourning is great off the bench but doesn't provide like Shaq does. His presence isn't exactly "feared" in the lane or downlow on offense or defense.
Mavs wouldn't win without Nowitzski, Suns wouldn't win without Nash, and the Pistons wouldn't win if any of there starters weren't playing.Miami cannot win a seven game series against phoenix, the mavs, or detroit, if Shaq is out.
Nobody has a SG better than Wade, nobody has a Center as good as Shaq much less a backup as good as Alonzo. Alonzo would be a starter on the Mavs and Suns. I won't go out and say he'd start as a Piston, but I think he would get a lot of PT.Jason Williams and Gary Payton are solid players, but look at the other PG's right now. Billups, Nash and Terry are all considerbly better then either of them.
You don't make it very far in the playoffs without a good supporting cast. Miami's supporting cast are more for support on defense than they are offense. Riley is a defensive minded coach in case you didn't know. But you're starting to sound like me....just stating the obvious.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifPlease consider the depth of the Mavs bench and if you say they don't have a strong bench, I'm not likely to believe much else you have to say.
That's a bold prediction. Let's make a bet. If I take the Pistons you willing to give me +11?There was no injury card to play...Miami had the advantage 'til Wade got hurt too. It would be more like an injury fact sheet.
Miami will win by 12 tonight.
I'm not saying anything of the sort. I was saying you're giving your biased opinion NOW that the Heat are up 3-1 meanwhile you never said anything like that before they met for this series. Thats like me talking shit about the Red Sox in '04 AFTER they came back from down 3-0 to the Yankees. In other words, you're a little late. BTW the series isn't over yet in case you haven't been paying attention.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifSo, what your saying is, the Pistons are still the best, and Cleveland took them to 7 games, and the heat are up 3-1?
lmao...that dude is a low class moron.....good call on the own medicine.....
I took nothing out of context. I quoted everything exactly like it was and replied to it. Don't get mad at me b/c you tried to make several points that could easily be discredited.Soul Reaper, once again- you take things out of context.
I was talking to ghostface in reply to him saying that they could win without shaq but not without wade.
Can you stay on topic?
Thanks!
