NBA Playoffs...

Not in my opinion he's not. The league needs ratings to keep TV revenue coming in. Shaq was and kinda still is the reason they get what ratings they get. Since Shaq was drawing an audience they couldn't have him fouling out of every game he played in so they let him get away with those gigantic elbows flying around. He gets called maybe 5-10% of the time for that but in no way is he called for it enough.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
BTW.......No use arguing with me on this one as you will never change my mind on this.
That's just plain dumb..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Why don't you ask some of the other centers and players in the league if they think Shaq is overrated. Alonzo Morning is my favorite center, and I think he could hold down the center position if his health wasn't an issue, but the stats don't lie, Shaq is one of the greats...

Also, some people forget that for the Heat, this is the first season that half of these guys have played together. That's the reason for the inconsistancy during the season. It's a perfect time for them to start clicking and if they continue, there is no doubt in my mind that Miami can take the NBA Chamionship. Yes, Detroit is a good team, but if Miami knocks them off, which they probably will, Detroit could not be the best team, they just had a good regular season and that's it.

NO, it's not dumb. It's just my opinion and just because you don't like it doesn't change my opinion.

I stand behind what I said about him getting away with offensive fouls his whole career.

Don't assume that the no response back is because I have been "out-smarted" by this feeble minded retard....it's just that I'm done making him look stupid...so this is my last post concerning you...and I'm not pissed off at all...I'm actually laughing at you...I would like to thank you for bringing joy to my life in the past 10 minutes....
Lol, don't be mad at me because you made a stupid comment. You still have yet to answer why you would even use the statement the Pistons were tired as a hypothetical situation. Or is it because you I pointed out the facts and you don't want to look more idiotic than you already have.

My goodness would you STFU and let it go. You are ruining the thread which was supposed to be about the NBA playoffs. Now its just a little pissing match between you and Drez.

Just that number alone is way off. I'll agree that he doesn't get called for it nearly everytime, but defensive players get away with flops at least once a game. He averages 13.6 shot attempts per game, and 4 Fouls per game. I'd say it's a good guess that 2 of those fouls are offensive. Considering the propostorous idea that he offensively fouls the defender every time he attempts a shot would mean they only call him on 13% of his fouls. You're forgetting that he usually outweighs his opponent by 50+ lbs, and if you've never gone up against someone that outweighs you by that much let me tell you from my own experience, they can back you down all day and there is nothing you can do about. In fact you probably foul them more than they foul you, just simply trying to keep there body from backing you down.

And you aren't ruining it with the Shaq comments? 5-10%? Give me a f'in break. I'm just pointing out stupid statements, if you care to argue then I'm for it, but when you start calling names to try to demoralize the individual questioning your statement it starts to get a little personal, so yeah, I'll argue with Drez, but it's not likely he'll admit he made an uninformed comment.

You're full of shit. Most of them would be defensive. I've been watching most of his career and he doesn't get called for offensive that much at all.

Excuse me, I'm talking about the NBA and Shaq. YOu're arguing about who said what and getting all pissed at each other.

Either way, I'm done with you.

You must not be watching the same Shaq I've been watching. I wish there was a way to get the exact number of offensive fouls. But I can bet that if it's not half, it's **** near close. Especially this year.

I'm still bitter about the Spurs losing to the Mavs? Context clues my friend. I'm a Mavs fan, not a Spurs fan- which proves my point that much further. When the mavs lose to the spurs by one or two points, I will ***** about the crappy reffing. I'm not going to get into a silly argument like you two showing off all that maturity, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

Here are the facts:

Miami is playing well right NOW, but in no way can you call them a better all around team then Detroit. Clearly, Hamilton, Prince and before game 3, Billups have all been shooting the ball poorly. This does not mean that I am taking credit away from the Heat. Shaq is playing great basketball right now as is Wade. Their shots are falling and they are hot, definitely.

The Mavs series against the Spurs should NOT have gone to game seven. Officiating was so horrendous in that game I could barely watch. I know when to give credit to the refs and when to flame them. I am not a basketball fan who blames the teams losses on the refs unless I truly feel so, truly. This doesn't matter if the Mavs are playing or if other teams are playing. I keep my eyes open and watch the replays just like the rest of the world.

Anyways, I hope the best for all four teams and the best teams will come out the winner. That's whats great about best of seven. THE BEST TEAM WILL WIN. If Phoenix wins four of seven games, I will not blame the officiating. Let's just all hope to watch good basketball. There are things in life far greater of importance then a best of seven series.
