Icetea, your supposed to be rubbing the win in everyones face. What is wrong with you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i don't work that way. there is still work to be done. the only one i rub it in on is davidwm cause he got cocky and said no way was detroit gonna win game 6 in cleveland

You had to say something about Cleveland didnt ya!!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

just be happy cleveland won 3 games. i'm kinda excited about what i saw in this game. it showed that when detroit is playing their best, miami can't compete. if they play this kinda ball for a full 48 minutes it would be greatly appreciated.

they have won 3 rings in 7 years with LA with 3 and Detroit with 1. at least they didnt drop the first game at home, that makes the effort worthless. the Mavs had the earlier game on monday and i guess they had the same amount of rest. . all you clowns were talkin smack and using statistics against me and just because i throw it back at you guys i am the bad guy. i never talked the junk you guys were when my team was competing. so live with it.
GO SPURS!!!! man i love this thread!!!

Guess you didn't see the first game, where Miami played well and Detroit couldn't compete.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Last night Detroit played well in all 4 quarters, Miami played well in only 2 quarters and Detroit still barely won the game. Maybe you were watching something else. Game 1 Detroit missed open shots and Miami had easy layups. Game 2 it was the exact opposite. The 2 teams are even.

and don't give me that Sh*t about Shaq and Wade were able to walk on the court. That means they have heart, not that they are able to perform to their full abilities. In the NBA or at any level. If you can't move as fast , or jump as high, or extend your arm properly for a shot because of an injury, you are at a disadvantage. 1 injured starter vs 5 injured starters (3 of the injuries being worse then yours) The healthier team should win.

Actually Detroit played well a little over 3 quarters. If they played well in all 4 quarters they would have won by 24 points........not 4.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You're right that a team with less injuries has some advantages over the other team that has MORE injuries. But what that shows is that Detroit having less injuries (same starters in 80 of 82 reg season games) is that they're much better conditioned athletes then Miami. Shaq is NOT well conditioned. He is always the last one down the court and NEVER gets out on the fast break anymore. OH and YES he DID used to run on the fast break so don't try and say he never has. Ben and Rasheed are BIG guys too but you'll almost always see them out on the break and getting back on defense.

I'm not saying that Miami is a bunch of lazy slobs, don't take it like that. But the better conditioned a team is the more likely they are to remain healthy for the long NBA season and the LONG road of the playoffs.

That is all.

richard hamilton is also injured and tayshaun prince has taken a beating. detroit did not play well in the 4th quarter. they gave up 17 points in a 2 minute span. that is why is was so close. detroit was contesting shots from miami and not letting them get into the paint. the last game detroit had a lot of open jumpers, but didn't try taking it to the rim. also look where shaq was getting the ball. he was getting it to far away from the rim and could not hit the hook in the paint

I just made a bet with a coworker...

The bet was either team from the east vs. any from the west...I chose the west...It is a rather large bet. I had better win //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would've chosen the East...even if my Pistons don't make it (they will though).

But then again, it is your $ and no one local would bet against Detroit now...sooooooo many bandwagon fans!
I am in dallas...I am from Dallas...You really think I would have picked the east? I see you are from Detroit...your pick makes sense now.

We can go back and forth all day long...and the ring was from 2 years ago IIRC. I think the spurs put them out last year. Bad memory //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
