Yes, injuries ARE a part of the game and obviously they can affect the outcome of a game. When your starting 5 all have injuries, your team is not as good as it can be. There IS a reason that they are teh starting 5.
What would Detroit be able to do if Billups was only 70% and couldn't raise his arms with out pain, and the other 4 guys where only functioning at 80% with shoulder, ankle, heal, thigh injuries and dislocated finger on their shooting hand? What is so hard to understand about that? You simply are not as effective. I am an athelete, so I understand, but maybe you just can't relate....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Last season, Detoit would have lost to Miami if Miami was healthy. Being injured isn't an excuse, it's a legitimit reason. But all of that was last year. This year, both teams are in similar condition and the series can go either way at this point. I have no doubt that either team is good enough to win. As someone who watches sport, I recognize Detroit's talent and respect them as a team, but by no means are they even remotely close to being superior to Miami, like many of you try to believe. That's just plain retardation...
Let's see who wins tonight...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
