Why? Why is it that they have to SWEEP the Cavs?? Just curious as seeing how its a best of 7 series why they have to sweep them? Why do you think the Pistons are gong to win the championship.....its because while anyone can beat them on a given day, its a totally different thing to beat them 4 times in less than 2 weeks. Just because a team is favored to win it all doesn't mean they should or have to sweep their way all the way there.
They also lost game 3 to the Bucks but you see what happened after that. Cleveland has to be able to win in Detroit to have a small chance and I really don't see that happpening. It took a home crowd, a cold Detroit shooting performance and James playing his top game to win ONE game which was won purely on emotion. Just like the Milwaukee series, the Pistons weathered the 1 game storm and will now resume (without panic) to finishing them off.

That wasnt Lebron's top game? He didnt get but what, 21 pts? I mean yes he got a triple double, which is awesome, but there were a lot of other players that should get credit. They also played with out there 2nd best shooter in Larry Hughes. So add him in the mix hopefully in the next game. I am glad people dont give Cleveland the credit they deserve. Its cool, makes it that much sweeter when we win. Do I think we will beat the Pistons? Maybe yes, maybe no. Pistons have the best starting 5 and are very hard to beat at home. So Cleveland needs to win on the road there for them to have a chance. I will agree with that. Also why would you compare the Cavs to the bucks? They are two totally different teams. So its not like the Pistons are playing the Bucks even if Cleveland loses, they will put forth a more valiant effort than the bucks did.

Harris has one of the quickest crossovers/direction changes in the NBA. He runs past any defender.

Not jumping on teh Lebron wagon. Detroit shouldn't lose to the cav's period. Detroit fans just think the pistons are unstoppable and they aren't. I think Detroit hurt themselves with that midseason trade. They'll probably still win the East though, Miami hurt itself far worse by trading Eddie Jones. You need at least one good defensive stopper. I can't name a team that won an nba championship that didn't have at least one defensive stopper. I'm talking all-defensive 1st or 2nd team.

how did detroit hurt themselves in the trade? darko was not gonna get playing time in detroit. carlos arroyo was making too much money to be a backup PG, and lindsey hunter is a better PG then arroyo. also the get cato, who can be used to run at shaq if they meet miami in the playoffs, plus he also has an expiring contract, wich frees up even more cap space, to re-sign ben wallace. didn't even mention they also got a draft pick

So what. I dont care if they only scored 50 pts and beat them. A win is a win. The way I seen it as I seen the game Cleveland stepped up there defense a lot in that game. They are playing a lot harder than the regular season and can tell they want to give a good showing. So why is it people say, oh they held cleveland to 86 points? I mean they won, so what is your point there?

Also to adam. I would be proud of Cleveland if they take it to 6 to be honest. I am not expecting them to win it, just want them to show that the can give them a run for there money. it's gonna take longer then a year or two for cleveland to break through. it took michael jordan and the bulls 4 years to get past the pistons, and then you gotta hope lebron stays in cleveland

Trust me Lebron isnt going anywhere for a long time. He is a locked in a decent sized contract plus when it is time to resign him do you honestly think they will let go of him??? I could say the same for your guys as well. Better hope Billups and Hamilton stay. I could see them going to a different team as well. Then where will the pistons be? Also what makes you think that the cavs cant do it in a year or two if they where to get a good point guard? I think that is the KEY that they are missing. I mean snow is nothing but a back up at best and pretty much the same with Jones. I think if they had the likes of a Jason Terry or a Mike Bibby, they would be very dangerous with the other playes they got now.

i'm not saying cleveland won't re-sign him. i mean the cavs front office would probably give their left nut for lebron, but does lebron wanna stay? billups, hamilton, prince and rasheed are all under contract for the next few years. ben wallace is a free agent this season and i think he'll stay in detroit. detroit is not an old team and will be competing for a few years, so i don't seen lebron getting over the hump soon
