i guess i did learn. i never knew dirk was a shot blocking threat. those 0.9 blocks per game really does strike fear in the opponent

Dirk is a POOR defender. You first said they were concerned with defense and running out the clock. What they were concerned with was keeping there best players out there to secure the victory. There defense isn't what is winning the games, it's Miami that's handing the games over. Van Horn would have been out there in a regular season game. So you make no point. I made the point....Dirk was out there to secure the victory, so that when and if Miami made a run, that they had an answer. Disrupting shots in the lane?? Lawl. Dirk=Ben Wallace? We saw how well Dirk defended that Wade one on one fast break. He really disrupted his shot there.

I guess if you looked at his stats for tonight only, he did score more than Shaq, had a block (shaq didn't), and had seven more rebounds then shaq. No reason for that to EVER happen.

By the way, they had the same amount of minutes.

ummm a known shot blocker disrupts shots, ie ben wallace. people are gonna attack dirk cause he is not a shot blocker. nobody is affraid of dirk blocking a shot unlike a ben wallace, mourning, camby, kirilenko
