WOW!!!!!!! Although I think they may have gained a little momentum by outscoring Dallas by 10 in the 4th quarter with Shaq and Wade on teh bench.
No, you're wrong.

When a team has its best two players on the bench in the NBA finals because their team is getting blow out and they manage to come up completely short on their comeback, they don't walk off the court thinking they gained momentum.

Fact Dallas has beatin' Miami 6 straight times in a Row..

FACT!!!!

NBA teams with 2-0 Leads win 93% of the TIME!!!

wow you actually posted facts. don't rack your brain to hard now, that should be enough for the night

lol, yay for outscoring dallas in the 4th.dallas outscored the heat in the GAME.
You are stupid. I mentioned that because the Heat actually played pretty good in the 4th. They started cutting to the rim, which is what they were doing in the 1st quarter which kept them in the game even though they were missing layups, free throws, and committing turnovers. When they play like that, they can keep up with the Mavs and beat them. Nobody wants to watch a blowout.

OMG, then why was Dirk still out on the floor in the 4th quarter? Seriously? He's known for his shitty defense. And I'm the one making the retard comments.
To spread the floor out? To have another good free throw shooter? To have a big man who can also dribble well?

I didn't say that the Mavs didn't want to score anymore, I am simply saying that obviously they wont be pushing and slashing like they would if it were not an old fashioned blow out.

Yeah they do. The fact that they started playing better is enough momentum to possibly get the team jump started and out of the lull they are in. But I can see your point as well. Because it is the roll players that are not knocking down the shots that they should be. If they start doing there job, Shaq and Wade can open up.

Guys. They peaked at the right time. Very few professional basketball teams are going to hold a 27pt throughout the second half. The mavs were more worried about defense and controlling the clock. If they wanted to keep pushing and playing aggressively then they could have won by 25pts. They don't care about winning by a million points.
Defense, not FT shooting. Dirk is a poor defender. Therefore according to your statement he should have been out of the game getting rest just like Shaq and Wade. They kept him in there because they needed offense in case the Heat made a run, which they did.

Sure I guess? You asked me why Dirk was out there and I still answered you. Like I said, it's not like I said the Mavs didn't want to score after they were up by 27pts. By the way, hes a great offensive rebounder which is another reason why he was probably in. When you are trying to CONTROL THE CLOCK, offensive rebounds are key. He shouldn't be on the bench, and he wasn't.

He would have been on the bench in a regular season game. But in the playoffs, you keep your starters out there to secure the victory. Not just for defense, just for the sake of making sure the other team doesn't come back, and if they do it's against your best players.

Right. That's why Dirk was not on the bench. Securing the win because he's a good free throw shooter, a seven footer who can play on the perimeter and downlow, he gets lots of boards, he disrupts shots in the lane. Ok. Thank you for proving my point further. You are speaking in general terms. I am giving you specific reasons for your generalizations. This is when you learn a little.
