yea, in a tight game situation like that, he is just not the one to makin the last minute shot. should have been boobie or james. an i know how you can say that the refs f'd up the game both ways, but it was just pretty obscene to see some of the calls they completely muffed even for the home team.

I was speaking more in general about refs blowing calls. Like game 6 against Detroit. Cavs got all the calls. Just happens. But until the Cavs can pick up some players who can pick up the slack like Bowen and Barry did in the last game they probably wont be able to knock a western conference team in the finals. Either that or the spurs all breakup and everyone else gets a chance to win. GOD I HATE THE SPURS!!! All I have to say, was glad to see them beat Detriot. Sucks, cause we didnt even put up a good showing nor get a title, but oh well, shit happens and was plain as day the Spurs were just a shit ton better than us or for the fact any other team in the East. Its obvious that the Western Conference is just a lot better. I have finally accepeted this.

Congrads to the Spurs and they are now a dynasty. They surely deserve it.

I guess you could say they are the closest thing to a dynasty that the NBA has seen since the Bulls won their 2nd 3 peat. But I saw on ESPN today they interviewed alot of writers and sports casters that they still wouldn't put the these Spurs up with the likes of the Lakers of the 80s and not even close the 1986 Boston Celtics.

I'm not taking anything away from the Spurs but they aren't quite as good as those teams of the 80s. OR the Bulls of the 90s.

always liked the spurs... Bulls and spurs, robinson and jordan were my all time fav players.. I never got into basketball much but these guys made it fun to watch.. Im still a bigger hockey fan than bball tho

Ginobli and Bowen are not stars. They are pieces of the puzzle. These are the little pieces that make the team GREAT as opposed to very good.

In my opinion the Bulls wouldn't have won ANY of those 6 championships without Jordan. He is the ONLY player in the history of the game to pretty much win championships single handedly. Bulls fans can argue that point all they want but they are just lying to themselves.

That is also why I didn't put that Bulls team up with the likes of the Lakers and Celtics of the 80s. The Sixers of that era were pretty good too though when they had Dr. J.
