But yeah either way, west is a tougher division. And btw, you made an argument against one division in the West. I could make an argument about two in the East.

I really have only kept my eye on SA Spurs, Mavs, Pistons, Suns... Shows how much I actually care.

oh and btw, im fairly positive that if you switched the mavs/pistons as far as conferences, dallas would have been in the finals the past 2 years and detroit wouldnt have made it out of the 2nd round.

lets take a look at who dallas lost too. last year they lost to phoenix, a soft team but good none the less, 2004 lost to sacremento 1st round. detroit has a very good record against western teams. also detroit was 12 minutes from beating san antonio and pwnd los angeles who was supposedly the best team ever. also miami was very good last year. 59 win team. the year before that they beat indiana who led the nba with 60 some wins

Why do people honestly look at the past records and what happened in the playoffs? I never understood that. I mean it is a different year. So just because someone who has a history dont mean they cant change it this year. Alllllllllllll I know is there is a shit ton of Pistons fans on here.

this pistons team, has won a championship and been to the finals twice with the same starting 5, so that shows detroit knows how to get it done in the playoffs
