Stats don't matter if they are not used in the correct context...

It's like saying person A is a better shooter because he shoots 50% and Person B shots 45%

When you look a lil closer you discover that Person A has only shot 1-2 all season long and person B has 66-133

Just how people twist them to further their own agenda..

and many people never question stats..

i didn't start paying atention to the mavs until 1999, when i moved here, and since i played the EA NBA games, i decided to use the home team... thats when i discovered the mavs...

i never followed them closely until the last 3 years...

so if thats the criteria for a bandwagon fan, then i fit the description...

Just so people dont think I'm a bandwagon heat fan or anything, I'm going to say why I like the heat and how to prove it wasn't just a 'I like them because they made the finals thing' .... anyone who knows me knows I have been a Gary Payton fan since I was around 5. So I was a huge Sonics fan, Lakers, Bucks, Celtics now Heat of course.... I also went home to NY just to watch my Knicks (my true favorite team) play the Heat (my 2nd fave).... (cost me a lot of money... and Im a broke college student)

Just wanted to say that's why I am taking the Heat in this and have wanted the Heat to win since playoffs started... I honestly doubted them and thought they would struggle in the 1st round but they have proven themselves... so even in my own predictions, I went against Miami, they really changed my mind a lot...
