Carl Landry is the truth...

Guy is a beast. Got the shit knocked out of him the other day. Matter of fact knocked his tooth out and kept on playing.

He will be a good one.

yea I rather him play the entire game than Scola..... he ads such a good def presence and is a greta rebounder
but some how Scola starts

Dood, I can't tell you how much I hate Scola! I don't know what it is, but I can't stand the guy for some reason. Something with his hair, game, I don't know. Just bothers the shit out of me, lol!

Well he is a jump shooter for the most part. I mean he can slam with the best of them and pretty much an all around player. I just think he feels he has to step it up, and especially now being down so much. So might be too much, which is a trendy story with them from over the years. Must be hard to be a Rocket fan since he has been there. Still a hell of a player.

yea.... I agree....I felt like the Rockets had a hell of a chance this year by adding some key players, new coach, and them becoming stronger all around....

then when Yao went down it hurt big time

and then Alston missing the first 2 of the series hurt them big time too

he tries way too hard to do way too much

and fails at it...

I think eventually he may come around to be a key role player coming off the bench........ but just not a fan of him right now

Never knew Alston was that good. He does make an impact and you can tell. Pretty decent PG that I never really seen much of.

Losing one of your bigger players/stars hurts any team. Sucks it happened, but you have to shove on I guess.

Yea I like Alston....not that he is that much of an offensive threat(a good one), but it just seems like the team flows better with him on the court......I think he is on the up rise for his career

yea it hurts not because of his points/def/reb/etc but what he does opening things of for players like TMac....

Scola brings a lot of things to the table though, he's like a more offensively suited version of anderson varejao...he has that hustle, plays good D and will take the flop...I agree that he may be better suited off the bench...but dont forget that he played a big role in that 22 game streak...

DeShawn Sevenson needs to be suspended for the series for that foul on LBJ...

yes a role player, and yes more of an offensive player than Landry, but he isnt someone that can create a shot for himself.

I just think he tries to hard to contribute, where as letting the game come to him

and I like Landry out there more, I just feel like he is a stronger player and has came up huge with def blocks and offensive rebs
