I don't care who you are, what those two did was beyond what anyone had thought or predicted. It was almost unnatural.

As for the Thunder. They will be back and will win a few titles...no question there.

I have to agree with this. They played great but they just were not the better team this year. Perkins needs some work and Westbrook needs a little more experience. After that, they will be a great team for sure.

Close, but nope. Still wrong lol. It was Heat in 5..If it would have went back to OKC it would have been the first 7 game finals since the 2-3-2 format.

Ur right I gave OKC to much credit, they are decent, but still at least 4-5 years away from winning a ring, Either westbrook needs to come off the bench or they need to trade him he shot them out of 3 of the 4 games they lost

I think it was just the Heat's year. They had some very "non-normal" things going on with all the players. No way to ignore that at all. There were 3 very close games which ultimately decided the series and took the Thunder out of the game. Even last night they were doing good, but the amount of 3's that feel for the Heat was just crazy.

As for the Thunder's future. I don't think it will that long. 2-3 before their first tops, if that long. The West will not have much to stand in their way to be honest. The Lakers maybe? RW is playing out of position so he will have a learning curve, but it won't take that long. I would like to see them move him to the 2 spot, but I'm ok with him at 1.

While I agree, it was a team issue. There was no communication to allow him to know what was going on. He was caught up in the moment and didn't know the rule for how that play worked. It was not discussed. The next day several NBA players openly admitted they had no idea of the rule and would have done the same thing, and would have expected the coach or a team mate that knew to speak up. So while it was a dumb mistake, it was a team mistake.

If you want to pick apart Westbrook then at least do it the correct way. He gets careless while driving and gets "lost" and at times will generate a turn over or a poor look at the basket and miss his shot. However, in several games this year has shown that he can play the position and with greatness. Next year will be a big year for him. He stays a PG and they have a similar year for another year leaving it a 2 year stretch for his learning curve...or they slide him to the 2 spot and they win next year.

Like I said, just some rookie mistakes that can be fixed with more experience in time. That's all it is. He's young.
