National Championship OSU vs. LSU

Washington? Penn State? Wisconsin? Michigan is always gonna be a tough game regardless of records. Illinois (granted we lost that game, but should not have...first TD should have been challenged as a fumble/touchback)? Purdue, they had the highest scoring offense in the Big Ten going into the OSU game, we held them at 7 points
Only 4 of OSU's teams played this year were in the top 25 when OSU played them:

Purdue - #23

Penn State - #25

Washington - #21

Michigan - #21

Purdue had the highest scoring offense in the Big Ten 5 games in to the season... Big deal. Who did they play? Toledo, Eastern Illinois, Central Michigan, Minnesota, and the amazing Notre Dame. That statistic means jack sh!t to me.

Penn State...played 2 ranked teams all year (one of them was OSU) and they finished the season 8-4... is that supposed to impress me?

Washington played 2 ranked teams all year...OSU & Michigan, however Michigan gets 0 fckin credit from me after their loss to Appalachian State...unimpressive

Michigan.... lost to a Division 1-AA school. No more is necessary.

If OSU wins, I'll look like a jackass. But IMO OSU doesnt deserve to be there

hawaii cant be in it. UGA is better than LSU that is for sure.
No fuggin shot. Since when did people think UGA was a great football team?...and more importantly, WHY? Yeah they are in the SEC, they are good, but they aren't NC material

Ohio State, played teams with a combined record of 73-71 whoohoo and minus Wisc, Illinois, and Mich the "other good" teams in the Big 10 who played teams just as shitty as Ohio State did such as The Citadel, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Minnesota, Eastern Michigan, a combined record of 47-61. i don't think they belong in the Nat'l Championship but then again i don't think LSU does either, i watched first hand a 6-6 unstable Alabama team almost beat them if it wasn't for our fumbling quarterback

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif FSU beat #2 BC (as well as Alabama)... they are 7-5, and IMO dont belong in any bowl game...

and i dont think Alabama deserves a bowl game either but you cant tell me that the quality of (in)consistent play that LSU showed yearlong should let them play in the nat'l championship, dont see how LSU gets in over Oklahoma or USC, really deep down i dont care though just thought id chime in about the Ohio State numbers cause im just not a big fan of Ohio State //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

edit: not a huge fan of USC either but i believe if Booty stayed healthy in the middle of the season then they probably go undefeated

Not a team ranked over 21st... not exactly a compelling argument for a national championship shot.

If they beat LSU, then I'll believe they're a good team, but I believe it's going to be a slaughter.

If the SEC wants to claim toughest conference in the nation, they should try playing every team in their conference once, like the PAC-10 does. No one in the SEC would go undefeated then.

OSU is the underdog again, and shades of Miami spring to mind.

Only one thing to say here:

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!

12 teams in the SEC means 11 conference games, i dont think so

ok, no one in the SEC went undefeated this year, and top 2 teams 2 losses each were to SEC teams, don't get your point

big x2....most of the teams in the SEC that had losses had all of their losses to other SEC teams

I think it is funny how everyone thinks OSU sucks being we were in a rebuilding phase and lost a shit ton of star players last year. No one thought we would do what we have done. On the OSU forum people were thinking we would go 8-4 or 9-3, not 11-1 and back in the NC game. So we are surprised, but with the team we have and the record, we have proved ourselves to be championship material. We were the most consistent team in college football minus Hawaii. Nobody wants to give us credit because we are just that dam good. Not to mention we have quite a few fans here from Ohio, but way more haters. It's cool, even if we do lose, which could happen, then it would still be a win win situation for us being we didn't think we would be here this soon again. Thing is we can be this good for the next couple of years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
