So I have a 93 town car, 2 knukonceptz 4 gauge amp kits and 0 gauge big 3 done. I had a pioneer deh-p80mp head unit and phoenix gold rsd 6.5 comps. I had alot of engine whine despite changing the ground to the head unit and amp and I ended up returning the speaker because a tweeter was fuzzing (probably from playing it with the interference) then I put 6.5 jensen coxials up to the amp and there was still interference. I then got a deck a pioneer 4800mp for my truck and figured Id put in the car to see if it was that, it was, it went away. So then I got a pair of 6.5 Pioneer Rev comps, I just installed the comps and... interference. Put a coxial instead one of the speakers, interference again when I had no interference with the same setup about an hour ago. So then I disconnected the Front rcas and the major interference is gone with the amp still on. Put the rca back to front, it comes back. So then I put it to rear RCAs and theres no interference, however doesn't sound as good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. The thing that confused is me that with the rcas in front output and the head unit on but the car in aux, the interference is gone. So how is the engine whine getting into the head unit only on the front RCAs? Btw head unit power n ground is going directly to the battery...
