I agree...greatest mini series ever
Greatest WWII film ever.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It was great to see how unbelievably accurate that series was in regards to tactics, weaponry, and situations. As a WWII nerd, it was great to see the cricket chirp and other minute details displayed in the film (like when a grenade thrown by Buck Compton seems to explode on contact with a soldier...it actually happened because the guy could throw the grenade THAT far). Just the little things like that make the movie great.

It is...and it's sad how it's underappreciated today. Especially considering how much of it still rings true //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Very sad. It's amazing how something made back then still carries with it a universal truth.

Should be shown to every 13 year old at some point.....Seeing something like that would have influenced me more than the normal school teachings on STD's in health class.

Also,

Casino

Meet the Parents

Apocalypse Now

Full Metal Jacket

Nutty Professor (with Eddie Murphy)

Scarface (I love how when its on tv, a certain line is changed to "this city is one big chicken, waiting to get plucked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif :up2somet: ")

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (new version)

Seven (supposedly they are making a sequel)

Resurrection (anyone else seen this?)

Exorcist

Big Daddy

Dodgeball

family guy: untold story of stewie griffin

As for box sets, OZ is the best by far. Not really a movie, but still.

I love Patton...that's another movie on my top list. I also really liked Thin Red Line, but I wished I could have gotten to know more of its characters...especially since so many cool guys were in it. That's what kept that from being a classic in my mind. It was definately worth buying, though.

EDIT: I was talking about the '98 version of The Thin Red Line. I haven't seen the 60s version, although I want to.

also Gremlins & Gremlins 2 - which is on right now btw.
Yes! Thanks for reminding me.. i havent seen the second one but the first was awesome lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
