N64 Broken?

Yup finally decided to take out my N64 pokemon edition lol but it doesn't work anymore! ;\

The console lights up and the screen flickers and theres a white noise when I first flip the switch.. The lights then flash and go to a flat red.. I think that's normal saying that game has booted up/ect. Do you guys thing is the AV cables?

I have 2 xbox 360's a ps3 psp ds 2 original xbox's ps2 and a atari for crying out loud and they still are all awesome consoles..

I would take it to a reputable small electronics repair shop. Sounds like the output or x board is done

Could be a $15 dollar fix, otherwise yes it might be cheaper to do a new console on CL

I was always a fan of not only the N64 but the dreamcast as well.

I will sell you my n64 and dreamcast... lol, I thought I'd use them still but I don't. I'd rather use an emulator. Dreamcast is cool thought because you can copy any game and play it.

Super dodgeball was badass lol. I just liked the legend of Zelda games and the smooth graphics from the n64 lol
