N.Korea Launches !

The Chinese may (or may not ~ who's to know, really?) have a disadvantage vs. the US in regards to the technology of various armaments.
One inarguable fact is they by far have an incredible advantage in regards to sheer numbers. Monstrous amounts of manpower can easily be a deciding factor in a military conflict. I have no doubts that the Communist government there would throw wave upon wave upon wave of people until we were simply overrun should a real conflict ever arise between us and them. Kill 100 of them? They'll send 1000 more. Kill 1000 of them? They'll send 10,000 more. Kill 10,000 of them? They'll send 1,000,000 more.

When you have a population of over a billion the number of people their rulers would find easily expendable could be simply staggering.

Just a thought...

youve got to be kidding me. JUST north Korea you are talking about has us outnumbered....I hope you are talking about China ALSO...who isnt a threat at this moment. As far as N. Korea goes. We have South Korea on our side 100%. besides them.. we have.. ONE OF the next Highest Military Powers..which is Japan..whos has us wayyyy outnumbered...and their tech, MIGHT be just as good as ours...BUT they are also on our side...FOR THIS SITUATION... which is huuuuuge.

as far as us being outnumbered...I dont think i means much if we are fighting on their turf...or striking them...then our technology defeinitely still has an advantage over them... a friggin weapon that can shoot 16,000 grenades per second!!!! or shoot 1,000,000 rounds per minute!!!..that will even the odds...WITH 1!!!.

As far as them having nuclear warheads...we have over 200 anti-aircraft submarines in the pacific ocean alone....let them launch a few...see how far they go. I LAUGH AT NorTH KOREA!!... they are pitiful, they arent fooling anyone...all they can do is threaten...that is how they get half of what they have in the first place is threatening other WEAKER countries to give them crap. We have tons of anti-aircraft weapons in the water just outside of N. Korea anyways.

I watched a show on it dumbasz...got any other bright comments for me. But now that you know you're wrong...pretty F-in amazing isnt.......the million rounds/min. was the bullet part of the weapon....it shoots both.

and no, not disarm a nuke in mid air...but blow it up.... which means....NO DAMAGE DONE!

Wouldn't it still have fallout/radiation? Wouldn't it still detonate?

how do you think we test our warheads...yes it would..and it could cause some damage...but they travel at very high altitudes to start with so they are harder to detect, and they woul dbe taken out wayyy before they got even close to land...by our Navy. Those laser guided missles can zoom in on a friggin dime...literally....launch like 10 of them for something as serious as a warhead....doesnt stand a chance.

Japan will before we have to...they are right there, and they dont like it either. I dont know if S. Korea will thought because they know if they do something to try and protect themselves...N Korea will just start and all out war with them.

shooting down a ballistic missile wouldnt create a fission reaction, it would be the equivelant of a "dirty bomb."

right now their only icbm capable of hitting the us could only strike western parts of alaska. shooting down a ballistic missile is not something that will happen with a 100 percent success rate, at least not with the technology we admit to having. but then again the f-117 was in service for over a decade before we admitted we had it.

then again, their current design would stand maybe a 1 in 5 chance of actually making the flight intact, without even having to be shot down.

more likely would be them smuggling a weapon into the us and using it on a major city, if they were insane enough to try it. not hard to do, our ports are wide open. by owned hardcore, i was trying to emphasize that they know any attack against us, nuclear or not, is going to be met with a massive counterstrike/invasion. i dont necessarily think that any use of a nuclear weapon would cause everyone to launch, and i honestly doubt we'd even nuke them back. north korea is pretty small, and neighbors a few of our allies.

yea... agreed. I think a terrorist act would take place before a "launch" of anything....and again...Japan would probably get the first real threats. which would be retarded (reasonable for them to do) since they are one of the strongest military powers also) I wonder who is more powerful...china, or Japan...im gonna guess China...dont know to much about them though.

The North's Korean Central News Agency, citing an unidentified "analyst" with the state-run Rodong Sinmun newspaper, accused the United States of harassing Pyongyang with war exercises, a massive arms buildup and increased aerial espionage by basing new spy planes in South Korea.

"This is a grave military provocation and blackmail to the DPRK, being an indication that the U.S. is rapidly pushing ahead in various fields with the extremely dangerous war moves," the dispatch said.

"The army and people of the DPRK are now in full preparedness to answer a pre-emptive attack with a relentless annihilating strike and a nuclear war with a mighty nuclear deterrent," the report said.

DPRK stands for the North's official name, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The report concluded by urging the U.S. to "get out of South Korea promptly." About 29,500 U.S. troops are stationed in South Korea as a deterrent against the communist North.

On Friday, Pyongyang accused the United States of driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula "to the brink of war," and said it is fully prepared to counter any U.S. aggression.
