N.Korea Launches !

OK for one if we shot down a nuclear device there would be a small fallout. The device isnt activated until its near the target and its not like a normal bomb. trust me i just got done learning this in college chem. We learned how to make nuclear reactions/explosions, and bombs. THe only contaminate would be the uraniam 235 being blown everywhere and its such a small quantity a small area would be affected. If a large area owuld be affected it would be in such small amounts that it wouldnt be harmfull.

About Russia....funny how we wont even say a word to them about their nuclear programs...hmmmmm, wonder why....INTIMIDATED!__________________
Again the second bigeest world power has to be russia. And no we are not intimidated by them. You have got to be an idiot, please research politics and war programs before commenting on them.

This treaty is still in affect, please read it thoroughly

We have just as many weapons as russia. Now obviously both sides have more than what the treaty says but its very close...alot of russia weapons were lost whe nthe soviet union collapsed. They fell into the hands of the new countries

and are un accounted for.

Russia hasnt tested a nuclear weapon since 1990. PLEASE quit throwing false comments around about shit you dont know about. Your confusing the mass's. Research.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

And with nuclear war no one will win, because both sides will launch. We or them will detect the launch as soon as its done, luanch a pre-emptive strike before the missle even hits the country and both countires will be hit. The sheer volume of missles flying through the air will be enough to screw up most of the world. If one country attakcs, the attacked will shoot back along with its allies then the attackrs allies will shoot. Its like what happend in WWII. It got bad because when one country was attacked its allies owuld join in then its allies owuld join in. Its a war no one will win. Only the cockroaches will win.

Indeed, a well thought out post. Reference the movie Lord Of War after the collapse of the Soviet union alot of things simply went to hell. Military officials, scared of losing their jobs, sold out to whoever offered in orrder to reap the benefits before adequate control was asserted over the military assets. Alot of things in russia still remain in shambles, and alot of the "greatness" and military strength Russia might enjoy is definitely hindered still by many factors. Unless of course, they are doing a very good job of hiding superior weapons systems... Because lets face it, if it comes to nukes nobody wins anyway... even if there is total destruction on one side, what kind of a prize is left to claim?

Thanks. Its sad but true.

snb778 just got pawned in politics by a 17 yr old:eek:hsnap:

I am here to tell you that the Russian threat is very real. It's hard to face but very real. While we send them billions in aid in the forms of wheat shipments, they expand their reach and aim in the form of nuclear weapons. Why does Russia need to test anything? When it comes to nuclear weapons they are the foremost power int he world. Don't you realize russia has bombs that make our Daisycutter look pathetic? While we have gone high tech and downsized our arsenal, they have jumped into mass production. Where do you think places like Syria, and N Korea get their nukes from anywa?

An interesting passage from the congressional report:

Russian offensive strategic forces programs, for example.

Despite an economy where they can barely feed and house their

own people, Russia is continuing to produce intercontinental

ballistic missiles, cranking out SS-25s, deploying a new SS-27

ICBM which is the most technologically advanced ICBM in the

world, building new ballistic missile submarines, trying to

develop new sub-launched ballistic missiles, attempting to

modernize its strategic bomber force and building two new

classes of strategic cruise missiles.

you only see the tip of us military power.

thats all they let us see, imagine what we really have waiting.

not to mention all the subs "the true sleepers".

Ive toured a Triton submarine (the nuclear ones). Those things are hella cool. We walked through the missle room, launching room. Only the captain and one other person knows wich tubes have real nukes or fakes so if it gets taken over it makes it more difficult to launch the missles.

Team Ramrod > North Korea

Bush wants to deploy us to North Korea for a secretive operation. As commander of Team Ramrod, I'm not sure I want myself or my fellow members taking orders from an idiot. I will keep you all posted and see what Bush has to offer.
