That was an awesome episode, clearly showed how a Dolphins can fend off sharks wanting to feed on seals.

saw that last week....was crazy without fake dolphin the seal cutout got messed up in like 6 seconds, with and the shark just swam up to look at it.....

i dont know there was just a special on animal planet on seal island where they did that and id have to see that dolphin experiment done a couple times....they proved on that special that if something new is in the water they are weary of it at first....i dont know how many dolphins kick it in african waters but chances are it thought it was another shark or didnt know what it was lol

what was more amazing is how stupid this photographer was on the seal island special. he sat on top of a whale carcus that was getting eaten by 20 sharks and took pictures!!!!!

Someone at work told me today, (talking about Mythbusters) that in Puerto Velarta Mexico, when the whales go spawning young, because the dolphins are in that area, sharks don't attack the baby whales.

i think sharks typically stay away from whales in general anyway because whales travel in packs....not sure that its definitely because the dolphins are there.
