Mythbusters latest episode was the burning of the hindenburg...thermite like paint or Hydrogen for lift. Their tests where done haphazardly with too many constants change to make them remotely viable IMO.

No leave it...I really need to be beat up on that one, I was almost as cocky as they were going into that game. We got destroyed, I mean....NOTHING went right.

I clearly remember the end of that episode consisting of them saying something like "If you'd like to point out what we've done wrong, go to http://www.discovery.com/mythbusters and tell us."

I'd say go do that. I only caught the last test and the burning of the "third" Hindenburg so I have no idea what's going on.

They are so stupid. I hate the magic bullet episode too. I could make a magic bullet and something to shoot it also, No problem at all.

prolly took em hours to do it since sometimes on the episodes for their myths to prove they have it on speed fast forwarding then go right to the myth.

1.) The composition of Iron Oxide in thermite is not the same sort of Iron Oxide they depicted (brownish read Iron Oxide).
2.) Burning of cotton cloth is NOT hot enough to start a thermite reatcion

3.) When they where burning it and saying "little thermite reactions" it was actually just burnbing aluminum powder....similar to the flash in flash bangs or fireworks.

4.) The Hindenburg was dropping as it was burning...as we all know blowing on a fire makes it burn faster as does the rush of wind.

5.) The Hindenburg wasnt burning from a flow of hydrogen as they used.

6.) When they tested the hydrogen in the box they used a mixture of air and hydrogen which is why they got an explosion.

7.) Their hindenburgs where not sealed.

There is more but I'm tired and ready for bed.

But anyways, rather than actually using gun powder as the combustant...use c2o or nitrous, like they use in paint ball guns. freakin tards....

edit..... BTW, who has one of the biggest cable tv shows! Who laughs alllllll the way to the bank because people like us watch the show and increase the ratings. If you don't like it soooo much then you should write to them instead of us. They will do something about it.
