Recipe for tater tot casserole.
Need a good size baking dish if you are like me and have to cook for 5, lol!
So using that as an example.
2lbs ground chuck
2 cans french cut beans
2 cans cream of mushrom the bigger ones, probably double up on the smalled cans.
1 can french dried onions
Extra onion, cut up in small cubes
3 different cheeses, I used mozzarella, provalone, American- you could use what you want though.
salt/pepper
1st brown the meat, add salt and pepper, then add the cut up onions and once browned, then drain to get the excess fat out, lol! Then put in the meat in the baking dish and cover the whole bottom. Add the cream of mushroom soup and cover the entire layer of meat. Then I put in the cut up onions to mold into the mushroom soup and add the green beans over top of that. Then cover all that with the 3 chesses, or however much you want to use. Then add the tater tots on top and gently push down some to fit them all in. Then add a little bit of cheese to the top and cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven on 400 degrees for 35-45 minutes and bingo.......bango!
Shit is good!
