My Tweeters have inline high pass filter...should I still use my crossovers on them?

Hey i just thought of something that i cant figure out. These JL XR100-CT tweeters I got come with an inline high pass filter, do i still need to use my basic crossovers on the tweeters since the frequencies will be filtered out anyways? I dont want to add the crossovers to them and just waste them if i dont need them.

remember: the tweeters are being wired parallel into my door speakers if that makes a difference with anything.

My current front speakers are the JL audio TR690 6x9s' and i have a really good deck and i was going to tie new wiring for the tweeters into the wiring on the front 6x9s'.
