I know what you mean about the crazy taxi and bus drivers!

I've been to Mx many, many times since we get such great deals from here in Houston to Mexico but I've been lucky...no issues.

Just don't go to Aruba.....you'll never make it home..

Sorry to hear that. Hope you friend that is still in Mexico turns out alright. Mexico cabs are sketch anyway, its worth it just to walk.

I've actually been to playa del carmen before too. Luckily my experience was during the day on major highways or walking in non-traffic areas.

yes it is. my teacher in school said that taco bell is the closest to authentic you can get in the united states. she also said it is better than REAL mexican food.
