My trip to mexico....

Okay, so i went to playa del carmen with 8 of my friends. We got to the hotel around 5 and decided to go into town to go to a club called the blue parrot. 2 o clock comes around and a few people decided to leave. They stop at another club on the way home..stay for an hour or so an leave..on the way back to the hotel a drunk driver swerves into their lane an hits them head on (both cars going over 70mp/h) the drunk driver was killed instantly..the driver of my friends' cab had his leg amputated tat night and died days later. one of my friends went through the windshied but had the held onto the dash to stay in the car..2 of the 3 in the backseat had seatbelts..and they walked away with bumps and bruises. my friend behind the driver (no seatbelt) is still in mexico and will be for 2 more weeks. hes at a hospital in cancun. He cracked his skull, broke his nose and has a severe cuncussion.

when i pulled upto the scene with the rest of our crew..we all thought everone was dead..the cars were trashed. on had the roof ripped off the other was torn to shreds.

moral of the story. dont take taxis in mexico.

however my friend in the hospital will be fine, just has severe head trauma. hes outta the intensive care unit and will be back soon.

yeah it happened on the 1st night we got there. but we still had a pretty good time.

got back the night before last. was there for 5 days

no kidding. looking at the 2 cars. i thought everyone was dead. 2 didnt have seatbelts btw. and theres no airbags.

i dono bad luck i guess. neither time was me or my friends fault. but..you can get hit by a drunk driver anytime..their driver was sober and in no way was it his fault.

Has any of ya'll ever ridden a bus in cancun?! That shit is crazy. They all go like 80mph. I dont feel safe traveling in mexico via taxi or bus!
