My SI Mag V1 w/ V3 softparts..blown/fixable?

My 12" Stereo Integrity subwoofer just cut out couple days ago. I just took it out of the enclosure and was checking it out. I noticed that when I move around the tinsel lead it makes a crackling noise under the dustcap. The other 3 are fine, the subwoofer still plays if I place it to the left though.

Am I in need of a recone? What exactly is wrong? Also, where can I get this fixed for cheap. I'd hate to see this sub go..

Sounds like the tensil lead came undone underneath the dustcap. Gently remove the dustcap and check it out.

There's like two dustcaps on there...One for show over the one that is small and glued on for good lol. SPLaudio actually sold me the dustcap lol.

Does the small "dust cap" have a plus sign raised out of the mold? If so that's the former cap - not a dust cap.
