i don't think you need 2500 watts rms to an xxx for a daily driver. 1200-1500 should be good.

The kx 1200x1 should be perfect then!

Hifonics is still probably the best cheapest amp though. If I had the money to step up from that, I sure would though.

If you buy a bx1500d, it'd do 1200 watts rms (pretty sure), don't see the problem, it's probably the cheapest thing to do...

supposedly that's the 12v rating though...so if you turn the car on, there's the possibility of it actually doing 1500rms...just maybe though...

Dude, Im telling you, More people have to discover Autotek. These things are well worth the money. Go and look at their 1500.1 They are also much under-rated. If not, id say go with the kx1250.1 Ive seen one of these hit 150 db hooked up to 2 12" L7's. My setup is very similar to this also. I have to admit my friend had an autotek amp once. It was a rock solid amp, it would take any ohm load you threw at it no matter how hard you played it. He had it for about 3 years pushing 1 ohm bridged and never had a problem with it. It was probably the most solid built amp id seen so far.
