My RE XXX12 came in today (with pics)

That's what she said!
Yeah, I'm a bowler. So I know carrying this thing in my trunk with a triple ball bag (~60 lbs), I'll be low riding in my Mustang. Plus whatever extra bowling balls I carry... which to a tournament is usually seven total.

I gotta get rid of this thing. But I don't want to ship it. Anyone in Houston want this thing?
I dunno. My '98 Mustang's suspension doesn't even move when I dropped my box + subs + amps in the back. It's pretty hardcore. I also had 2-12" RF P3's in my trunk + wood and it moved maybe 1/4" of an inch.

Lighter is better. My car is in the shop right now getting a supercharger installed. I don't need any extra drag. I have a decent suspension, but still.

As a side commentary, I can't believe how much this market has changed since the early 90's. My first system had four Kicker C-12's and that was the bomb back then! I think I had a Coustic amp, hehe, I was broke as a joke back then. Kid without a clue. But I did have MB Quart comps and a PPI amp in front. Amazing sound.

Same thing has happened to bowling. The equipment back then is laughable now. There have been major advances in bowling coverstocks and cores. The new stuff just hooks more and more... hook-in-a-box. You don't need talent anymore.

Car audio is fascinating to me again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

you still do need talent to bowl consitently, but your right about the coverstocks and cores i still love my angle which was the first urathane ball made lol

Pfft! The Angle was made before you were born, foo!

hehe

If you're into bowling, you can hang out at my forum, http://www.allbowling.com

Although, it's mostly an off-topic forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

lol i know it was way befor my time however i came across one for free one day and used it as a spair ball and still do from time to time, it fits my hand better than my yellow dot

yeah thats what i always called it, its a colombia plastic ball that has a yellow axis dot on it
Oh, I know what I Yellow Dot is. If it's a real one, then they used to be called "bleeders". People used to put them in the over to make them tacky and hook more. I had one years ago. It lasted about a month before it cracked. hehe

I don't bowl much these days. I dropped my PBA card last year too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
