well looking at it now i was told my amp put out close to 5000 rms and I have 0awg running in my truck and I was already planning on getting a new box within the next few days but other than that.....no...

pretty much you'll have to sell your amp (while its still alive) and build a bigger box, and their are a few used/mint 2500d around in the used section goin for about 425..

do you have a HO alternator in your truck, cuz at .7 ohms that 2500d will probably pull in some major amps...

you need a better amp and better sub, there is no rating for a mt tech. it will take whatever you throw at it... as long as you arent clipping the hell out of it, but in your situation you are clipping the hell out of it...

if its a newer 2400 i beileve the ratings on that is about 1200, it was brought up in a thread a while back when directed released their new products
