How did you like that think? Im sure it had good SQ, what about getting loud though?

Right now I stuck my old Eclipse sw6123DVC on my Diamond amp. Getting 600-700 watts in a ported box. lol its awsome.

I'm only pushing 400 watts to it....not like I over powered it......

clipped the signal to hell and beyond?????? Distortion and stupid use is the #1 destroying factor to a speaker.

im dont think its posable to slightly over power a sub in a sealed box and blow it. UNLESS u got a cliped signal.

no...no clipping.....I set the gains to a certain volume on the headunit with a maxed out sub out gain also to prevent me from putting to much volume.

I listen to dance music at full volume for my 45 minute drive everyday. This is my first sealed enclosure I've ever had and blown this sub and my JL audio w3 in it. Prior to this I have never blown a sub in a ported enclosure. I'm think that the voice coils over heat since there is no air movement in a sealed enclosure. So the air in the enclosure will just get hotter and hotter....cooling the sub less and less.....
