Let the flames begin, TL;dr version, im screwed.

ok so heres my story, tonight after i got off work i went to a friends house for awhile. We were hanging out watching tv blah blah, her brother decides its a good idea to shoot me with his sling shot so i chased him away and got my air soft pistol out of my car, shot him in his leg a few times and took his sling shot from him. We left her house and went into town where we met up with another friend at someone elses house. So we are all standing around outside and i shot a few friends (stupid idea) with my airsoft pistol and put it under the seat of a different car.

My other friend just got his airsoft pistol back from someone else so he also shot it a few times and threw it into his car, we are all sitting around on the cars talking and we see a cop pull up, then one from behind us, then another, then lights flying by on the main street coming to us, then another.

Cops get out of the car tell us to show our hands, so we did, then asks us about a slingshot and tells us someone called and reported we were threatening a disabled person with it and not letting them cross the street( NOT TRUE). The cop takes the sling shot and is just asking us questions as usual when one cops decides to shine his flash light into my friends car and guess what he saw, he yells out "we have a gun!" my friend steps away puts his hands up and they cuff him and throw him into the cop car.

Few minutes later they know its an air gun of some kind and continue to question the rest of us. One cop then asked if its ok to search my other friends car and he agree's, so i tell him i have my air soft gun in there, they of course flip out cuff me and throw me in the back of a cop car.

They search everyone for weapons, drugs etc etc and find nothing so they take me and my friend to the police station take our finger prints, mug shots, and give us both a $500 dollar fine.

Now im going to go to court and fight that ticket but thats the least of my worries, they have my mug shot and finger prints, how can that hurt me? Does that mean that i can no longer join the Millitary, FBI, CIA, Secret Service etc?

Also has anything like this ever happened to anyone else here before? Can anyone give me some advise? What kind of things should i say when i go to fight the ticket?

That sucks man, I dont see why they arrested you. Hope you dont end up having to pay the fine.

First, you dont want to join the military, PM me ill tell you all about it. Second is the ticket for threatening a disabled person? Ive never heard of that. They shouldnt have cuffed you either once they realized it was airsoft. They definetly shouldnt have taken you to..well anywhere. But did you ask why you were getting arrested when you were getting arresteed? Did he read you your rights?

Agree with the rest but, there's really no need to shoot someone, even for fun - unless their name is ...

That was really stupid on the cops part, and you're part.

They should not have arrested you for anything that was mentioned above. They didn't have proof (besides some stupid phonecall) that you were threatening a handicapped person, which you weren't. You need to go into the sherriff's office and tell him your story and be firm about, but not smart-***.

Also, did the officers read you your rights? If you go into cuffs and don't hear your rights, that is a huge problem for the officer.

Good luck getting out of it, but I don't really know if it will happen...Being in trouble with the law sucks, it comes back to bite you in the *** later. Good luck hope you can get out of the ticket and charges though, because you really didn't do anything THAT bad.

Also I do think you're not allowed to have any criminal record if you want to get into any of the organisations you listed above...Not 100% sure though.

You can get into the military, just not certain jobs, as long as you tell them about it and dont lie.

You wont have any problem joining the military. Felonys are the only thing they are worried about. As far as the SS, FBI, CIA even if you go to court and fight this one they will still see it on your record. Get a copy of the police report before you go to court and have all of your friends to fil out a statement on what happened this will help your case.

we werent actually arrested, they never read me my rights or anything like that, they said they had to do it as a precaution.

Also, did the officers read you your rights? If you go into cuffs and don't hear your rights, that is a huge problem for the officer.

that is a tale that people have to know about, your rights DO NOT have to be read to you under alot of circumstances.
