Of course they cant. They are making the same power on 1.5litres less. The M5 and M3 win every comparison test they go into head to head with Audi or AMG. They dont have a BIG lump under the hood which makes them better balanced. M5 would DESTROY and E63 all day long on the track.
But to your point of large displacement. Those days are over. BMW and AMG are both going to smaller, turbo engines. The new M5 has a 4.4 twin turbo. M3 is going to have a twin turbo or singe I6. AMG is doing the same from what I hear. You can get the same power, more torque and better fuel economy when you run FI. Its a no brainier. Good by to the days of 6.2 V8s.

The M5 and M3 have taken both RS and AMG models in each category! The M3 was the fastest around the Top gear track in a test VS the RS4 and AMG C63. I think the M5 is still faster around "the ring" then the CTS-V too. I heard they used "dry" tires for there test run. It was faster because they ran a "dry comp" tire. Actually, that may have been the LF-A. AMG and BMW both make race car engines. BMW made the Mclaren F1 engine bro! The best supercar all time!!!!

I swear when I watched Top Gear the RS4 ran faster, but maybe that was just a challenge. I dont remember. I did mean to say the RS4 class, though, the M5 is better than the RS6 for sure. I think I heard the M5 reclaimed the title too, but schit, a CTS V costs like half of either of those cars, well maybe like 60% of the BMW. And yea I think it was the LFA, but the ACR just killed it.

But you killed my argument there, cuz the McLaren F1 is the GREATEST CAR EVER. Haha. But recently no BMW engines are in supercars. AMGs are in Pagani! The only thing that upsets me is that BMW doesnt make exotics. Audi has the R8, Merc has an endless amount, BMW just has the GTS (which is a sick car, but is no supercar).

Ya, overtime BMW has withdrawn itself from dropping there engines in other cars. BMW does need to make another M1 though, a supercar. And the ACR Viper RAPES "the ring"! The LFA is way overpriced for the performance.

I love Top Gear. The episode where they tested the M3, The RS4 and the AMG. The M3 won the ****-o-meter challenge

haha jl wow there was a tahoe there with 6 13.5 w6 and he hit 147.7. i think im gonna get the 600 rms audioque which i think is equal or better than 15 inch alpine. that might be louder
