Well it aint doin to bad a of job.....Mike From SS said he had it playing up to 400hz... but it got a little sloppy up that high....so it should be able to play 150 just fine.

x2 - I was going to run a pair with the horns but Mike said they wouldn't work very well / at all.

If you like it, then that's all that matters.

like whats been said - if it works for you, and you like it. good job. midbass is supposed to be stereo - but whatever. it works - and you like it.

id prolly use that for subduty, and get some nice dedicated midbass and a pair of CD1E horns. that would be awesome.

as i said, midbass is supposed to be stereo, that SUB is not made for midbass, but it will play up to like 300hz without problems.

I WOULDNT RUN IT THAT WAY, but whos to say weather he shouldnt.

this forum should have more CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISM rather than just critism.

honestly, though, guys... once upon a time i had my temporary 3-way setup of kodas and DLS UR6 components, all off of a amp that does 4 x 150RMS...

well i didn't have the driver side koda in...

the passenger side koda was on the door, not even in the center of my car, and the low end of the sound stage just BARELY sounded to the right. This was with a 200hz lowpass on the Koda.

Has anyone else EVER hear something similar to what he has, or my scenario?

No doubt. If we all did everything the way someone else said to car audio would not be at the level that is today.

Can't make generalizations like that, young Jedi. Just because some 8's are good for midbass, doesn't mean all 8's are good for midbass. It's driver dependant.
