well, i know the first thing everyone is gonna say, shouldve used copper, and i know that, but with copper as expensive as it is right now, this aluminum/copper alloy will have to do. i bought a 48" bar from pierce metals online that is .5" thick and 1" wide. i then cut it into 6" long pieces, and drilled and tapped threaded holes for bolts. well, enough talk, heres the end result under the hood, ill take some pics of how they are on the two g31's in the back tomorrow or one day this week.

Why the bus bars over what you had, did it not work? Why not just get some good battery terminals, the military type that will hold 5-6 crimp rings?

yea, it worked, but 500 watts work too, why do i have 5000? and i have g31 optimas, they dont have terminals, thet have 3/8" studs, and yes im aware they sell an adapter, but i had this idea and wanted to do it so i did

Two things....

1) Insulate that positive one... Please... Just some electrical tape....

2) Make sure that the length isn't going to act like a wrench on that bolt and unscrew it from the weight of the cables.... This could be very bad, especially if you don't do number 1...

Other than that looks cool...

Also, you put your highest current devices in the center right... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That's what I like to hear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
How much did that cost you, and where's your insulation for the terminals?
it didnt cost much. i got the aluminum for 15$ delivered to my door, then i think 7 for the drill bit and tap, and a couple dollars in bolts and a saws-all blade, so at most 25$.
