I can find u a cheaper amp, but than ur stepping into the cheap cheap stuff (Boss, audiobahn, Jensen, Bazooka, etc..)

Good starting combo for $208, little more powerful than the kicker, this sub handles up to 400 rms, and u will be wiring it to 2 ohms on the amp instead of 4, so u be pushing the sub with 360rms.

I love how he wanted a "system" that wakes people up, than throws out a budget of 225........
Sad part is there are too many people like this.

Look at my set up in my sig, I've been saving over 8 months working my a$$ off and still dont even have everything yet. I am not saying go for the best u can get, or even near the best. But dont settle for crap u wont be happy with and have to upgrade 100000x times later.

Look around for deals while ur saving up. Since ur parents are willing to pay for ur install im sure they will loan u a quick $50 in case u find a really good deal and dont have all the money yet. Just don't be lazy, if u want something work for it. I don't care if ur 15 years old and can't get a job anywhere. I am only 18

check out the pioneer set up I got u. I think it would do better than the kicker u originaly had thought of, its also moved up to a 12" and total cost is only $208

LoL, just keep reality in mind, i installed some things for a friend of mine once, sort of the same situation, abd he had the nerve to be disappointed. just stay in reality and u will be fine...

I spent 4 x that and still disappointed. Not too disappointed, just want to upgrade 2 years later.

k i kinda of want the better sub and so its something i can buy another of to have two you know so i want it to be decent and i was thinking like an amp just to power that and then get the same combo of sub and amp at a later time what would be a combo, and like 10" cause i dont want to have 12s i dont know for sure that they will fit

something like that just for this setup, RCAs included, running 8 gauge power but since ur pushing under 400 watts u should be fine.
