ok i got me a new box to day its a qlogic 1.25 per sub adn ported and its 10x louder than my old 2.25 sealed per sub ???????? is it because its ported or does qlogic make good boxes????

its becauz its ported.. qlogic doesnt make the best boxes..

i dont think there made out of mdf

same as above, porting makes a huge difference. J/W, in comparison, how is the quality between your sealed and ported? have fun, c'ya.

More or less likely because its ported. Or maybe your sealed box had a ton of leaks...either way, I'm sure it's not 10X as loud lol. 3db gains are common.

Im just wondering, but how much did you pay for the box?

well 3db gain would be 2x as loud...but hey.....thats massive sound difference either way...heh....
