figured id post a picture. its cool to look at. i figured while i was at it i would post pics i have of the rest of my system. mind you, i have unfinished door pods - i plan on redoing them because i have a pair of IDQ 8's installed and they barely fit and im sure i could make them fit better than they do with a new build and less intrusion. also i have a different headunit. and yes. i have a false floor. and yes i know the optical cable is not installed correctly. it was too short - i got it when i bought the headunit. theres lots more work to do, but i am going on deployment with the navy in feb 09. so it will have to wait until after then.

this is how my speaker wires are terminated so in case i change anything its easy to remove and replace.

this is when i was doing RTA stuff with my alpine CDA-9831 - the program is called RAL REAL TIME ANALYZER. and the mic i was using did not have a strong enough diaphragm so it was a little bass heavy.

im sure most of you have seen this stuff. but my tinypic account got smashed and i was bored. and i got my new amp yesterday, so i decided to put this all up again. and no i will not explain why i have 6 sets of speaker wires.

any questions? i didnt think so.

sexy

i wish i knew how fab this kind of stuff. Im freaked about cutting my doors to make my pods.

Any advice?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Could you explain to me why your running two headunits? I've seen many people do this, but I just don't get it. Why wouldn't you just buy one headunit that can do it all instead of messing with 2 headunits? Elaborate please.
One is a headunit and the other is the controller for his processor.

nope no pictures of that.

i need to re hang them. its a pita. best bet would be to get some back strap. its just some metal bar with holes in it thats a little flexible. scuff the horn body up and use CA glue (i recommend IC2000) and glue a few pieces on there. then find some way to mount them under the dash. its different for every car.

ive written tons of responses to people trying to make door pods. you really have to know how fiberglass is going to lay on when you do something like this. you need to know how to make the rear section, and the front section. its not hard... but its time consuming and you will prolly do a terrible job the first time you try it.

im redoing mine because i have different speakers now. so i just am not going to finish these ones. prolly cost me like $80 in supplies to make em, but im just gonna chuck em in the garbage and start over //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
