I can see the other side of the argument too where you would sell them. Its all gonna be in the pitch.
You would have to sell them as Special Handbuilt subs that perform exceptionally well for thier cost, but they dont have a warrenty with them because of their uniquness.
If you can get people to jump on that and get them excited, telling them if they do blow it the cost will only be 120 bucks or so with shipping for a re cone. Which wont seem god awful when they're originally thinking its going to be 700 for a whole new woofer.
Basically any shop would have to have all the models just as floor models to show people them, but made to order only.
It could work at a high end shop, especailly in a rich neighbor hood.
