My local dealer turned down RE!!!

I can see the other side of the argument too where you would sell them. Its all gonna be in the pitch.

You would have to sell them as Special Handbuilt subs that perform exceptionally well for thier cost, but they dont have a warrenty with them because of their uniquness.

If you can get people to jump on that and get them excited, telling them if they do blow it the cost will only be 120 bucks or so with shipping for a re cone. Which wont seem god awful when they're originally thinking its going to be 700 for a whole new woofer.

Basically any shop would have to have all the models just as floor models to show people them, but made to order only.

It could work at a high end shop, especailly in a rich neighbor hood.

Thats pretty retarted for someone to turn down a product line like RE that has so much potential...
I mean what if the product line becomes even more popular, RE gets a handle on their production dates and figures out a better warranty... I hope this store owner friend of yours did not burn any bridges...

The more products you have the ability to sell the more customers you have the ability to make a profit on....

Right now no matter who you buy RE subs from you are going to have to wait for them to be delivered... You explain to the customer.. it is worth the wait.. you explain to the customer about the warrenty etc... If they still want it fine they buy it if not then u sell them something else but atleast you are giving your customer the option...

So what if the stuff is on order if RE has it instock in their warehouse they can have those subs at the guys store the next day... ****in lame excuse...

I dont even believe this thread...I also bet RE and the store owner would not appreciate this thread.

thank you----and btw the shop is doing VERY well. they carry alpine, jl audio, eclipse, memphis, oz audio, rockford fosgate etc., and they have an awesome *** home theater selection.

oh i understand...kinda sucks for me tho cuz he's my friend and i could buy at dealer cost if he accepted.

I tried this about 2 years ago. Dealers wont accept them if they dont warranty their shit. Its pointless

If it were my shop. I would not carry them. And I love my RE products...

I feel ya man. I mean I love RE, but I mean...if they are ever gonna get HUGE, which they could, they need a better warranty than "oh you ****ed up" for the average joe shmoe.otherwise its just gonna be an online deal the rest of the carrer.im drunk now so maybe this has a point in this.colleged is the shizznizzizzle
