2000 watts, trunk car, 6.5 cuft total after displacement, all sub/port back. I'm looking for a loud daily setup with decent lows.

1) 05 RE XXX18

2) RD Alpha 15 v2

3) Cascade Omega 15

I know neither of the 15s require that much box, but I'm just giving you my MAX demensions. All will be tuned around 33hz.

I really don't want to know what your favorite sub is, just which will get louder out of the 3. I really want to own a XXX just for the sake of saying that I have one, but if its not the best option for me then I won't get it.

I was told 06 is like the new style. There are 18" XXX's but I dont think they are made like that from Re.

x2 u can't go wrong with any one of your choices.

Neither is louder than the other? I think the XXX will dominate the lows, but can the Omega and Alpha keep up? All are in about the same price range, and all are used, the XXX being about $80 more than the rest of them, the Alpha and Omega being about $20 difference in price.

I know, but is that because of Scott or are they really just great subs? Would they be great in my application? How much output would I lose by going with the XXX sealed?

RE made older style 18" XXXs, not just the newer ones.

The 18 , I wouldn't like in a trunk.

I'm lost:crazy:. Are you saying the Alpha isn't seeing enough power, or that the Omega is just that great? I feel that you wouldn't like an 18 in a trunk, but my CSX was loud as heck to the ear, but was trash on the mic. I really didn't care though, it made me happy in every way, but it was lacking in the lows and the gap was too tight for daily. It would get warm and smelly after 3 songs
