my 30 gig video stopped playing through the head phone jack as well. i returned it back to best buy, and got a ipod touch. i did have the extended warranty though. i think it was like 50 bucks for 3 yrs.

do it yourself. buy a kit off ebay for like 10 bucks and do it yourself. it's very very easy. if you can install car audio you can switch out a headphone jack. there isn't anything crazy like soldering or anything. its just a ribbon you pull and re-insert and that is it.
