wow it's funny how i come on here for when i need help... but anyways i have a pioneer 6400cd (6.5" lcd) and i gave it to my "friend" in electronics to blow the dust out... i get it back with two extra pieces, the ones that hold the CD player unit in place. so took it back apart and put it together the right way.when i go to reinstall it in my car, and two wires from the harness touched and made a spark, i think it was the illum wires. anyway i put it back in and everything worked good until i put a cd in. i put in the cd, and it didn't read so i put it back in, and switched to FM mode and wouldn't switch to CD mode again. now the CD is stuck in, and the faceplate flashes, but stays on sometimes. does anybody know what's wrong, if i can fix it, or how much it would cost to have it done professionally? any help is deeply appreciated, thanks G6zero

alright nm... don't mean to keep bumping this post, but for anyone that runs into the same prob as i did, the CD module just wasn't lined up with the slot in the front. when it turns on thinking there's no cd inside, it won't switch modes so you have to pull the CD out and get the module to align with the slot. part of the problem was an underlying short i had caused by my mom backing into my car.
