i just booked our vacation this year...heading down to orlando to disney world and it was just over $1500 for 2 adults and 2 kids for three nights at Coronado Springs resort and 3 days of tickets w/park hopper option. Add that to the $400 rental car for the week and spending/dining out and your looking at close to 3 grand. Dammm family better enjoy themselves.

they better have fun!

when are you going?

i was thinking of hitting disneyland/california adventure/downtown disney with the family this year(novemberish). it comes out to be much less expensive than disney world. plus if go during the winter months, you don't have as much of a crowd.

we are going from april 14th to the 17th during kids easter vacation. i have a friend who lives down there and he told me it's not that crowded at that time.

i remember it being 3g's when my mom took me to disney land back in the early 90's..we stayed like a week or more though..for only 3 days it does seem like a lot.
lol yeah thats just for 3 nights at the resort and 3 days of tickets=$1548

I was down there when I was a kid with my family back in 1990. I was expensive then and not worth it at all considering we went with our whole family. It was just around 4000 for the 3 of us without a car. But we had that package where we stayed in a hotel in orlando and had a 5 day pass to disney/epcot center. The other 5 days was for a Disney cruise to the bahamas and the keys. That was nice. But mang price keeps going up I see. That was just for 3 days huh? Crazy *** shit mang!

It's not expensive when you use the disney corporate discounts for hotels ($79 a night) or you avoid the restaurants ($10 for a long island iced tea at Raglands over at Downtown disney).

But the kids will dig it, plus if you are staying at a decent resort, the actual resort may have beaches and pools and stuff (ala Caribbean Beach).

Good Luck and **** it up, if the kids are the right age, they wont care if you miss the big ticket stuff.

lol, I dont ever remember paying to get into Disney World. I lived near orlando almost all my life, until a few years ago and I moved to kentucky:(, and my grandma was really high up with Holiday Inn and some other hotel chains in the central florida area. Being that she was high up in the hotel chains they gave her the ability to get into disney for free, and she could get as many people into disney for free as she wanted and she didnt even have to stay. She would just sign us in, and leave which was cool because then we wouldnt have to do the stuff she liked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I have been to Disney more times than I can remember, and I only have one thing to say... ride Pirates of the Carribean(spelling?) its a kiddy ride, but it pwns. And try to trick your kids onto getting on the Tower of Terror by saying that its an elevator that takes you to see Mickeymouse or something:cool: As long as they are tall enough to ride:rolleyes:
