my friend is thinking about gettin this HU

how is this alpine model?? he needs something cheap to go in his car he cant spend any more then $140 and he is putting this in a 2000 mustang with the mach 460 sound and he said there is an adapter on crutchfield that he needs to get to use an aftermarker HU with his car, is there something else that he has to get for it to work with the stock amps?
