My friend is all pissed at me because his cheap *** amp suddenly stopped working. He claims that I somehow messed it up when I replaced his fuses. He has a TIS 2 channel amp that he claims is "2000" watts and is worth 250 dollars. (He always tries to get me to buy it for 200...lol) This is the same amp here......

Anyway, the amp uses three 25 amp fuses and he had three 30 amp fuses in it. He kept wondering why the amp sounded like shit and would make weird *** noises like it was going to blow up. I told him half of it was the amp is cheap quality and that he has the wrong size fuses in it. I replaced them with three 25 amp fuses and sure enough the amp works a lot better. Two days pass and he calls me and tells me his amp stopped working. Now apparently I owe him 250 dollars lulz. God I hate people sometimes.

Because it endangers your amp. If your amps components can only handle 75 amps and you try making it use 90, the components in the amp can melt, short, explode, smoke, or all of the above.

Like seriously, this kid runs a mtx 4500 12 in a tiny sealed box and he thinks he is tough shit. His power wire is 3 different size/brand wires electrical taped together. lol

Because the fuses are there to protect the amp, when you go too high on fusing, it can cause the amp to eat itself up if there is some kind of problem that would normally cause the fuse to blow. They have nothing to do with how the amp sounds.
