no you guys were allright, im refereing to the people like this one guy in that old 74 monte carlo that when he started his burp his car died.... that kinda isht..

Did you hear the squeal under my hood? For some reason my truck doesn't like to be played loud at idle. It doesn't do it when I rev, and it never happened until I got my ho alt. It doesn't sound like it's coming from the alt though; sounds more like the belt tensioner.

Was that in that black escalde at the Southern Showdown car show? I wanted to sit in it to see how loud those solos got. I told my friend that the box was too small.

Let's just say he didn't break a 50. I wasn't impressed with the performance of the install, but it looks really nice. I think I almost have more port area for my 10's than he does for his 18's:rotflol:

and I got my revenge on him, see that guy with the solo 18's beat me in Southern Showdown (since it was not an spl event) so when he came up last night I knew i had em on SPL. I know I am newb as hell, but I think it is cool as hell to see folks at a show that you only talked to on the internet and such. And then see other people at another show talk about the same setup. It is just cool.

I think that is what those who work the 9-5 and not part of the 'culture' miss, the relationships. They don't understand that car audio is perhaps a lifestyle, hobby, etc where people can meet and exchange ideas, it is not all about banging through the 'burbs @ 2am waking people up.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. You got to atleast be able to stick your penis in the port, if you can't it's too small.

edit, I think he would do okay if he eliminated the 'separator' and made it one big port and moved the box back some

He would have probably been better off with just one sub and a proper box, atleast in terms of spl.

Since i was judging, I did my car dead last at like 1:35 am... i did SPL tones and street beat....my street beat sucked, my system is totally not setup for it and i played a cd that i didnt know very well, little jon track 5 @32 seconds in....and it was hitting way lower than my resonant fequency so i only did a 145 something. Id of got much higher with something that i had planned out. But then agian, I thought the whole event was just going to be burps...but no big deal. I dont even do drive-by in MECA either though.
