yessss.

look in my gallery

and youl see a 12" hwk with 2 x rl-p 12s d4 in it.(@ 1 ohm = 2500 wrms)

it was 'ok' not to clean not to loud not to low.

i have had better bass and more of it in other designs.

i think the HWK is better suited for large applications myself, I know you knew about 'em.

my 12" hwk fills my garden with serious bass, but it gets choked in the van.

I'd get a 18xxx. Your not looking to compete, don't have enough power for a true SPL sub, your just looking to get loud and low. 18xxx ported tuned to 28hz, big box, fun stuff. Should sound good on music too.
