Hey,

I had been hearing some odd noises coming from my front tires and I decided to take a look at the brake pads to see how they were doing...low and behold:

Pretty **** close to having no pad left lol, my neigbour showed me how to do it all and everything worked out great, not too hard to change disc brakes, and I probably saved like 200$ on labor by doing it myself. Only cost 120$ to replace the front discs and pads :p

It was fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

****!! Its good you changed them.. I remember one time where I really needed to change the pads and didnt when I finally decided to change the brake pads and was on my way to the shop they came right off and started leaking brake fluid all over. Came out to $400 worth of work just for being lazy lol..

Yeah when my mom saw the pads she **** near killed me herself lol. Yeah like I said its really not hard to do, and once you know how to do it it doesn't take long either.

Only trouble I ran into was that one of the 2 pistons on the calliper had rusted up and was jammed, It took some time/force/releasall/wd40 and other things to break it free and clean the piston out and get it going smooth again but it worked out.

Haha yeah. I used a clamp to push the cyclinder all the way back in, only thing is I forgot I had recently added some fluid to the system and a little bit spilled out from the reservoir before I realised, not a big mess tho. EMptied it a bit before doing the other side.

I've done hundreds of brake jobs. One's on hondas and toyotas are super easy. I always like to put nevercease on the back of the brake pads so they don't squeek and clean the rotors before i mount them. Good job on doing it yourself. Now you gotta check the rears.
