Notice from the first to the second, how the pitch of their voices is lower. That keeps it sounding nautral. If the pitch isnt lowered, it sounds weird.

Imagine the song on a line that starts from 0:00 and goes until say 5:00. The song file only has so much data, and when you slow it down, you need to strech the whole song out. If you just slow it down without lowering the pitch, its trying to stretch but theres little gaps that make it sound weird, since the file is trying to play the same thing but slower without lowering the pitch.

Slow it WAYYYYY down where you cant even understand what theyre saying. What Im talking about will be very obvious. If you slowed it down correctly, it would be audible, but the voices would just sound VERY deep.

I tried doing korn and it does not sound right slowed down

And to g-monk, I did do it like that on a few songs, the lil will song, and the lil wayne song (minus the bassline, couldn't get that to sound right), was the pitch lowered correctly in either of those?

Some programs just cant lower the pitch. And when you slow it down, dont change the bassline at all. Dont add bass or anything to it, that just creates distortion and clipping.

I listened to I Feel Like dying and part of the Cypress Hill and D12 song and from what I heard this is not chopped and screwed. I didn't hear anything chopped, correct me if I'm wrong. All I heard was you slowing down the tempo. It doesn't sound very good IMO. But keep working at it.
