My fault or deffective buy?

he just didn't put power to these subs and they made this noise like the video seems to make you think....

he told me that he put 2 of them in a box and put them into his car to test them out on a fusion 800 watt amp..

i free aired the subs on a 100 watt amp before i put them up for sale..they were all reading 8 ohms , and worked fine....they never made a sound... they had never been mounted in a box..they were mint

the sound i here in the vid sounds like the coils have come unwound from the former....which could come from overpowering the speakers and making the voice coil bottom out....

they are only 150 rms speakers....they are like giant mid ranges more than they are subs...

i would not have sold defective subs on purpose to scam you...i have loads of refs and have sold a boatload of things on here...

i wish you could have just kept in between me and you so i could work it out with you .... im a stand up guy, ask anybody that knows me on here.......instead you have to post up this to make it seem like i sold you ****ed up speakers on purpose???

Ampjunkie you have a good rep here, I do not think anyone is going to think otherwise.

There is alway's 2 sides of a story and we got it now.

Op why did you fail to mention that you had these subs boxed before free air?

Well, don't know either, but definitely know that the OP should have taken a DMM and something to quickly test the subs with when he went to go do a face to face transaction. For that he fails hard.

this is what i thought after he told me he tested 2 of them on his fusion amp...

plus you have to think, these subs are around 14 years old, and not made to handle alot of power

for one, u didnt tell everyone i had the amp all the way down. i tried to keep it btween us. but u quit texting me. i didnt even get a bump out of them just rattle.

and i told you the rating. 800 watts at 14.4, i'm pushing about 12.4.

No i didnt want everyone to to think u sold me junk. read my first post i said from a respectable member. Junkie like i said you are awesome. i dont have anything against and prob never will i just want this resolved. when i tried to message u it was full. and u never text me back.

i always put a amp as low as it will go to b4 i turn it up. and my h.u. is always stock setting with the sub output on neg 10

as you see in the vid. the subs barely move. thats the lvl i had them in a sealed box

even though i know the subs were perfect and worked fine for me , i refunded half your money for the 2 that mysteriously dont work...

what is the chance that the only 2 subs that didnt work , were the first subs to be tested out.????....hmmmmm

next time , if i sell another speaker locally. i will play music through it to make sure they work in front of the other person.......this wont happen again
