Thanks guys I am quite impressed with how nice it looks.

Once we get a new vent and some new baseboards it will look even better.

That stuff is a great allternative to lino, Carpet. I installed some in my Moms house instead of carpet. Its easier for her to clean, cuts down on allergens, and brightens up the room.

I tried laying it down over the carpet, thinking it would act as a padding, Wrong. I had to take it back up, remove the carpet, and re-install it.

I also thought about mobile homes when I started out, They was cheap, Like 20k here in MA. But I just couldnt do it. I opted to buy a 2 family instead. Btw, Those same mobile homes now sell for 150K in MA. It would have been a nice investment, But again, My house is worth that much more now too. Again, Nice job.

I have to get transistion strips and baseboards yet and it will all be tied together

either they were smart with the design...putting the vent in the middle because the heater is limited mechanically and you get more uniform heat when the vent is in the middle (with only one vent)

or

being cheap, as it is easier to cut one hole in the floor and pipe it than to come up through the floor and then through a baseboard and within a wall
